Join us as we return to Niger and minister to the
medical and veterinarian needs of the people.
Medical & Veterinarian specialists, along with helping hands
are encouraged to join this team.
Will you go with us to help some of the poorest people in the world with one of the shortest life expectancies due to sickness and malnutrition?
Niger is open to the gospel and showing His love through medical care is a great avenue to reach these precious people. Primary care physicians, nurses, and non-medical helpers are needed for this awesome mission experience.
Leader: Dr. John Mauterer, DVM
The daily schedule is subject to change, this is to give you a good idea of what the trip will look like and the basic plan of action for the trip. Your host ministry will have a more detailed schedule for the duration of the trip.
| Sunday | Head to New Orleans airport for the beginning of your trip. Over the next two days you will get to know your team members even better while traveling to Niger…It’s off to Africa! |
| Monday | Arrive Niamey in the afternoon and be met by our Global Partners, Neal & Danette Childs at Vie Abundante ministries. Get settled in the guest house accommodations and begin orientation over dinner. |
| Tuesday - Friday | Travel to villages just outside of Niamey and prepare to minister the love of Jesus through prayer and medicine to some of the poorest people in the world. During the week you will also have opportunity to minister in their discipleship training school, and share your testimony in village church services. |
| Saturday | Experience the Nigerian culture by visiting the local marketplaces and going in search of giraffe. |
| Sunday | Prepare to make a joyful noise as you worship with the sound of African drums and encourage new believers as you minister in a local African church! |
| Monday | Possibly another village clinic day or provide checkups for school children. |
| Tuesday | Visit the Vie Abundante discipleship training school to do checkups on students and staff. Then get packed and say goodbye to your new friends and prepare for a late night departure back to New Orleans via Paris, France. |
| Wednesday | Return home bringing your friends and family testimonies and pictures of what God has done in Africa! |
